Once we understand the culture of your company, we can begin to understand the specific position you need recruited. We will assess the accountabilities, skills, knowledge, attributes and behavioural characteristics and combined with the culture and values of your company begin the candidate search.
Utilizing the candidates already registered on our database with an extensive database search and advertising on sites such as seek.com, jobsjobsjobs.com.au, and careerone.com.au, we can start to search for the right candidate. Accordingly, each company and position is different and we may need to look at different advertising strategies including media advertising and relevant industry advertising.
With Behavioural based interviewing we look for evidence of past behaviour that matches the competencies required for the current role. They assume that past behaviour is a predictor of future behaviour and are based on competencies defined as the skills, knowledge and attributes needed for effective performance in the position.
We use a variety of skills assessment tools to provide fast, effective, evaluation of candidates including, behavioural based interviewing, computer skills testing using Quiz and can undertake relevant psychological assessments where appropriate.
We short-list from assessing resumes and extensive telephone interviewing. All candidates shortlisted are then personally interviewed using Behavioural Based Interviewing questions tailored to both the culture and position of the company. Assessing set criteria against each candidate taking care to ensure we have explored all areas relevant to your particular requirements.
Candidates are thoroughly reference checked once before presentation of the shortlist. The second and final reference check will be conducted after initial client interview with candidate to discuss any areas that may be of concern before the final selection process has been completed.
Once we have thoroughly checked potential candidates, we provide you with a shortlist using the candidates' individual resumes, profiles, first reference comments, relevant skill test results and the consultant overview.
After presenting the client with the shortlist, we liaise with the selected candidates to arrange interviews at your convenience, ensuring that each candidate is fully briefed on nature of the position and your company's background and culture.
Following your selection of a successful candidate, we will help facilitate this stage of the process to effectively and rapidly negotiate all components of the contract, including compensation and career progression, resulting in a highly amenable agreement for both parties.
